How do we imagine our cars in the near future?
The world of cars is undergoing a major
revolution since the creation of ultra-advanced engines and autonomous systems,
so an English site revealed its vision for the future of driving and the shape
of cars in 2050.
The cars are expected to have a fully electric
cabin, and will be equipped with 360-degree panoramic glass windows, as well as
structural panels that will be changed colors by application on the owner's
phone.
The site relied on the predictions of some
futures scientists, along with its use of a survey of more than 2000 drivers in
the United Kingdom to clarify the shape of cars and their stages of
development. Thirty years ago, the era of hatchbacks appeared, and now in 2020,
iterations of these models are still present, and not much has changed.
Significantly, the basic form remained the same for three decades.
But this seems to change with the
implementation of the self-driving technology of companies such as Tesla and
Waymo, and government legislation, which stipulates that diesel and gasoline
use should be abandoned within the next 15 years, and it appears that by 2050,
the transportation industry will be very different.
According to the British website, "digital
paint" would be popular with consumers, and would allow the car to change
color at the request of the owner via an application, and this could be
available by 2040. The self-driving car will transform the hard seat structure
into a more flexible cabin space that can be used for a variety of purposes,
such as sleeping and living space.
Drivers also said that they may want to make
use of the travel time by reading a book from the built-in library or watching
their favorite shows and movies from the large integrated TV screen. Other
common recreational uses for spacious design include table games, hair, and
makeup, and four percent of people think a robot-controlled mobile car will
provide the perfect time to practice yoga.
