Cars News : Many Governments will ban the sale of cars and trucks that run on Gasoline and Diesel

By the year 2040, many governments intend to ban the sale of all cars and trucks that run on gasoline, diesel, and various other fuels, due to fears of high levels of nitrogen oxide and air pollutants from cars, as it will pose an increasing threat to public health.

This decision is caused by unnecessary and avoidable impacts on the environment and public health, which cost governments, for example the UK government, about 3 billion pounds a year. This situation also applies to India, which has the largest pollution rate in the world, and has also explored the idea of abandoning diesel cars and preventing their sale by 2030.

A few days ago, the French government announced its intention to end diesel and gasoline sales by the same year, as part of its ambitious goals set in the shadow of the Paris Climate Conference. Other countries also came up with the same idea as the beginning of their plans to deal with climate change and environmental pollution. The Netherlands discussed the prohibition of fuel and diesel from 2025, while some federal states in Germany are seeking to phase out them until 2030.

In turn, China stipulated that 12 percent of imports of electric or hybrid cars be in 2020, which means that the industry needs a million electric cars if it wants to maintain current export rates to China. In India, the government is developing plans to end the use of internal combustion cars and switching to electricity and hybrid from 2032. The government will implement this through several means of incentives, restrictions on polluting cars, and generalizing car sharing systems.

Norway provides an example of the shift towards electric cars, where it has the largest percentage of these cars compared to the census, and that 40% of new cars registered in Norway last year were of the electric type. Norway opened its first express charging station, which can charge 28 cars at the same time within half an hour.

Numerous reports predicted that electric cars will take over the automotive market more quickly than previously expected. Electric cars will account for 54 percent of total car sales by 2040,
